CHOPSTIX is a loop chopper that makes the chopping itself the sound. Drop any loop on the bamboo mat, play the chops from your keyboard or MIDI, and turn up HEAT: clean cuts at MILD, then pitch swoops, tape stops, reverses, stutter rolls and filter dives as you head toward INFERNO.

Under the bowl is BROTH, a lush synth that plays chords in your loop's key and ducks around every chop — 15 patches, from warm pads to house stabs. Turn on FOLLOW and the chops themselves move to fit the chords. Hit AUTO-CHOP and it plays a groove for you, locked to your DAW.

AUTO-CHOP

Built-in chord synth in your loop's key. 15 patches and 10 progressions per mode.
FOLLOW
Chops are repitched to fit the chords. Drums are left alone.
SYNC
Loops stretch to your project tempo, pitch kept.
SPACE
Transitions bloom into reverb, with true reverse-reverb swells.
Smart Slicing
4 to 32 equal slices, or AUTO slices on the hits.
File Detection
Reads key and tempo from your filenames like Keys_Eb_100.wav.
