By accessing or using the Sound Snacks website, sample studio, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Sound Snacks provides a curated library of audio samples (synth loops, chord progressions, arpeggios, and similar musical content) with a browser-based sample studio for previewing and shaping samples. Users may purchase credits to download samples for use in their own music productions, subject to the Sample License Agreement.
To download samples, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
Samples are downloaded using credits, which can be purchased through the Service. Credit packs are one-time purchases and are non-refundable once credits have been used. Unused credits do not expire. If you download the same sample more than once, you will not be charged additional credits. All prices are in US dollars and are subject to change with reasonable notice.
Downloaded samples are licensed, not sold. Your rights to use downloaded samples are governed by the Sample License Agreement. In summary: you may use samples in your music productions (commercial or non-commercial), but you may not resell, redistribute, or share the raw sample files.
The browser-based sample studio is provided for previewing and auditioning samples. Audio previews are compressed, truncated versions of the full samples. The full, uncompressed samples are provided only upon purchase via credit redemption.
If you submit samples for inclusion in the Sound Snacks library, you represent and warrant that you own all rights to the submitted content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights. Submission terms, including compensation and exclusivity, will be agreed upon separately before any submitted content is published.
You agree not to: (a) circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or access-control features of the Service; (b) use automated tools to scrape, download, or rip audio content without authorization; (c) share your account credentials or transfer credits to another person; (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; or (e) attempt to reverse-engineer any aspect of the Service.
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and all sample content, is owned by Sound Snacks and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use Sound Snacks trademarks, logos, or branding. Your right to use downloaded samples is limited to the license granted in the Sample License Agreement.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sound Snacks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Sound Snacks in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends, but any samples you have already legitimately downloaded remain subject to the Sample License Agreement.
