Sound Snacks ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information when you use our website and services.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address. We use passwordless authentication (magic link), so we do not store passwords.
Purchase information: When you buy credits, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full billing details. We receive from Stripe: a transaction reference, the credit pack purchased, and the amount paid.
Usage information: We record which samples you download (to enable free re-downloads and to track credit usage). We also collect basic analytics: pages visited, browser type, and general location (country level, derived from IP address).
Information we do NOT collect: We do not collect your real name (unless you choose to provide it), phone number, physical address, or any demographic information. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
We use the information we collect to: provide and maintain the Service, process purchases and deliver credits, enable free re-downloads of previously purchased samples, send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, magic link login), improve the Service based on aggregate usage patterns, and contact you about material changes to the Service or these policies.
Supabase: We use Supabase for authentication and database hosting. Your email and account data are stored on Supabase infrastructure. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
Stripe: We use Stripe for payment processing. When you make a purchase, you interact directly with Stripe's checkout. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties for marketing purposes.
We retain your account information and download history for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (e.g., purchase records for tax purposes).
You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your account and personal data, and export your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@soundsnacks.co.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, secure authentication via Supabase, and row-level security on our database. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.
