This Contributor Agreement ("Agreement") governs the submission of audio samples to Sound Snacks. By submitting content, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not submit content.
Sound Snacks accepts individual audio samples including synth loops, chord progressions, arpeggios, bass lines, leads, pads, plucks, vocal chops, and similar musical content. There is no minimum pack size requirement — you may submit as few as one sample. All submissions are subject to quality review and curation at our sole discretion.
You retain ownership of your original recordings. By submitting content to Sound Snacks, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to distribute, sell, display, and promote your samples through the Sound Snacks platform and associated marketing channels. You represent and warrant that you are the sole creator of any content you submit, that it does not infringe on any third-party rights (including copyrights, trademarks, or rights of publicity), and that it does not contain unlicensed samples, stems, or recordings from other artists.
Contributors earn a revenue share on each paid download of their samples. The current revenue share rate and payment terms will be communicated to you before your first submission is published. Sound Snacks reserves the right to adjust revenue share rates for future submissions with 30 days written notice. Existing published samples retain their agreed-upon rate.
All submissions must meet our technical and creative standards. Submissions must be provided as 24-bit WAV files at 44.1kHz sample rate. Files must be free of clipping, excessive noise, or artifacts. We reserve the right to reject any submission that does not meet our quality bar. Rejection is not a reflection on the quality of your work — it means the content does not fit the current Sound Snacks catalog direction.
Submissions to Sound Snacks are non-exclusive by default. You may sell the same samples on other platforms unless otherwise agreed in writing. If you and Sound Snacks agree to exclusive distribution for specific content, those terms will be documented separately.
Sound Snacks may apply mastering (loudness normalization, limiting, fades) and assign metadata (key, BPM, tags, categories, filenames) to your submissions to maintain consistency across the catalog. The creative content of your samples will not be altered.
Your artist or producer name will be credited on every sample in the catalog, displayed on the platform, and included in the download filename. You may use a stage name or alias.
You may request removal of your samples from the Sound Snacks catalog at any time by contacting us. We will remove your content within 30 days of receiving a written request. Users who have already purchased and downloaded your samples retain their license to use those downloads per the Sample License Agreement.
By submitting content, you represent that: (a) you are at least 18 years old; (b) you have the legal right to enter into this Agreement; (c) all submitted content is your original work; (d) your content does not contain copyrighted material from third parties (including samples from other sample packs, stems, or recordings) unless you have obtained all necessary rights; (e) your content does not violate any applicable laws.
You agree to indemnify and hold Sound Snacks harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these representations, including any third-party intellectual property claims related to your submitted content.
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Contributors with published content will be notified of material changes via email. Continued submission of new content after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
